Angie, the youngest of 13 children, was born August 22, 1923 in Sydney River, Nova Scotia to Rodrick Morrison and Catherine MacKillop. She met and married Dad in 1944 while he was stationed at Penfield Ridge, Nova Scotia. At the end of the war Dad and Mom choose to move to Altamont, MB where they assisted with the family hardware and lumber business. Here they raised their family. A change in work brought about a move to Roblin, MB in 1971. Two years later, wanting to be closer to family, they relocated to Morden, MB. Mom worked many years alongside Dad as custodians for the Royal Canadian Legion until their retirement. Retirement years brought many happy hours spent enjoying favorite interests which included camping, playing cards, knitting and listening to her favorite performers Daniel O'Donnell and Anne Murray. Travelling with her daughters to Arizona, Florida, Nova Scotia and British Columbia were a highlight. After Dad's passing Mom moved to the South Railway Apartments where she resided until her passing.
